Sunday saw us wave farewell to Cameron and Daddy as they headed to swimming lessons while Luke showed his great grandparents around historic Little Ginninderra Village at Gold Creek. Then we all combined for a family visit to Cockington Green where delightful and fascinating displays of meticulously crafted miniature buildings are set within beautifully landscaped gardens.
Created by Doug & Brenda Sarah Cockington and opened in 1979, Green Gardens is a family owned and operated attraction, with four generations involved over 25 years (which is a bit like the Palmer family - there are four generations actively involved in its operations although the entry pass fee is very very light on at our place!)
The park has an International display area, which complements the original English Village and its beautifully established gardens, some of which are featured in my previous post.
The boys had a ride on the steam train - a big hit - and Grandmama and Pappa gave it the thumbs up!
