Discovery Zone

Luke defiantly refused to face the camera in the Aircraft Hall.

We're getting ready for the London Bombing sound and light show.

The London bombing show in the Aircraft Hall is loud - here the boys are protecting their ears..... well before the show has even started.

We had a slightly trying time at the War Memorial today with both boys distracted and "loud!" in what is really a quiet reflective space. We visited the new Discovery Zone for kids - complete with actual helicopter, submarine and WWI trenches. Luke was very scared... Cam had a cracker of a time (see old and new parliament house in the background of the outside shot). It's sad to see many weeds creeping into Anzac Parade's normally exceedingly neat organisation. 

It was exciting to see the Laurence of Arabia display with amazing artefacts - they have a set of Laurence's clothes (both uniform and desert clothes) and they're spectacular!
