More playground progress!

A bit more work has been done on the playground rejuvenation project! As a reminder this is what it used to look like, back when the kids were smaller and we had a big tree right in front of it -

After the tree removal there was just a pile of sawdust in front of it and it looked a little 'weathered' after 3 or 4 years in our climatic extremes -

And now it is all painted, the slide has been moved to its new location on the raised deck (allowing more room underneath) and it is ready for the canopy and accessories to be attached -

It was blowing a gale but I managed to get the canopy on before it blew into the next door neighbour's yard! Here you can also see the new rope ladder and scramble net -

At the back is a three sided rope ladder next to the ramp from the retaining wall -

And after school today the boys had their first play -

Next is to assemble and attach the swing set and then attempt the trampoline! After reading the instructions for that it could be an interesting challenge.
