After years of building the National Arboretum - Canberra's gift to itself (with some Federal funding) for the 100th anniversary - has opened.
We missed the opening celebration (while on our cruise) so it was time to go off and see this place we have visited for years during open days. The Visitor's centre is magnificent and also houses the national Bonsai garden. We'll put more photos up here soon as Luke took some with his camp disposable camera.
