It's overcast and a little cooler so we dive for the paints and let the artists go to work. We go back for another session later in the day and it's so popular we run out of paint.
No daytime sleep for Luke today - yikes let's hope this isn't a sign of permanent things to come!
Lots of reading too with Possum goes to School and Bilby's Moon ("something missing, piece!" says Luke when we see the moon's crescent).
I've just gotten back from a work trip to Adelaide (38 degrees), Perth (23 degrees), Melbourne (20 degrees) and back to Canberra (32 degrees) in two days and three nights........ Airport security seems to be tightest when you try to leave Canberra (somewhat illogically??). Between my 'killer' shoes, 'deadly' tweezers and suspicious umbrella, I had reasonably uneventful travel although my colleague got donged by a taxi door and almost eaten alive by faulty lift doors in the middle of the night in Perth (imagine first aid being provided to the sounds of drunk Robbie Williams fans gathering in rooms nearby).
Only two weeks to go before we're off on our holidays for four weeks. There's sweat on my brow that suggests this will feel like the longest two weeks of my life.
