The last week of the school holidays has been big for all the household. I spent two days in Melbourne for work - arriving back on the afternoon of Anzac Day just in time to distract the kids in the kitchen with muffin-making! Yummo.
We visited the Australian Museum to check out Thomas the Tank Engine up close. He's been here all school holidays but we left our visit to the last Saturday in the hope the crowds would be lessened and it worked out. The Fat Controller was very funny and he played games with the kids and told stories about the trains and the Island of Sodor. Here he is teaching the kids to play freeze!
We also created some new versions of the boys' favourite - "jump on mummy".
It's been a fun school holidays for all - back to Pre-School and PlayGroup next week.
