It was a public holiday today for 'Canberra Day' - our city is 96 years old apparently. So I loaded the bikes into one car and Sam took the boys in another to the start point of the Canberra Big Bike ride on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. As a bonus we got to see many hot air balloons as they took off and landed nearby.
It was a leisurely ride around the northern suburbs of Canberra which are nice and flat unlike our suburbs! The boys had great fun looking at all the different bikes whilst I spent most of my time (apart from pedalling furiously) explaining to many people what our bike was and where we got it. I may have to go on commission soon!
